For all Sunday Lovers.
YOUR New Sunday ritual.
As they say: Do it for the plot! Welcome to Sundays Plot, where we turn bad decisions, big feelings, and beautifully unnecessary chaos into something you can hold in your hands. We'll talk about the life events that shaped me, the ex-lovers who genuinely thought they'd vanish into the sunset unmentioned, friendships that deserved a medal, and friendships that deserved a clean, confident exit. We'll do moving cities, living abroad, and the subtle ways our parents keep influencing us long after we swear they don't. We'll flirt with psychology too: the craving for reinvention, the oddly comforting habit of staying stuck, and the moment you realize your "fresh start" is mostly just you in a new zip code with the same personality.
These stories are real. Names are changed, obviously. Some parts are dressed up for entertainment, because if I’m going to tell it, it might as well come with good lighting. Timelines are condensed, scenes are merged, and not every situation happened in isolation. A few details are softened because even I have limits, and I’m the one writing it. But the core of it happened, and it happened to a version of me still trying to make sense of it with humor, red wine and a dangerously sharp eye for patterns.
One lesson before we begin: never tell the universe: "It can't get worse." It can. It will take that as a challenge.
I’m not sharing this for closure. I’m sharing it for fun, and because I choose to believe everything happens for a reason, even if the reason is simply to make a great story later. And honestly, it’s oddly comforting to realize you’re not the only one who’s survived some absolute madness.
Some people will recognize themselves in this. You might feel a little embarrassed. Not because you’re “bad,” but because growth has a sense of humor.
Anyway. Let’s have fun. See you next Sunday, Sunday Lovers.
